BitMEX Ends Its 11-Year Run and Puts a Monthly Fee on Balances Left Behind

The derivatives exchange that popularized the perpetual swap closed for good on Wednesday. Customers can still take their money out, and BitMEX says balances left on the platform draw a monthly account fee.
